Painting for me is about capturing the mood and essence of nature, often using found materials from the very scene I am painting, championing the fluidity of paint to depict the elements of air, earth and water.
My paintings are largely abstract landscapes and seascapes in subtle moody tones, often rich in texture in either thick buttery acrylics or rich oils with layers of translucent cold wax.
BUNNY ART ONLINE
BUNNY is New Zealand's first contemporary online art gallery launched in October 2020. I am one of a few selected artists represented by Mobile Art Gallery in Auckland., who were approached to be part of BUNNY.
